Illawarra Pipe Band
Interested in learning Pipes or Drums then get in touch with the Illawarra Pipe Band through the contact page. Tuition is free of charge and you do not need bagpipes to start only a practice chanter which is of similar appearance to a recorder and the Band keeps a few spares for sale to the public. The band practice is 7.00PM every Wednesday night at George Cross Falcon Club 25-27 Lake Ave Cringilla.
The Berry Celtic Festival is held every May and the Illawarra Pipe Band is always there. This year we lead the parade and the weather held off until the end of the event.

The band had a lot of fun playing for the Albion Park Football Club under 6 gala day. The planes from the air show were a bonus. Photos thanks to Sportography by Bec

We played for the marchers at the Wollongong May Day Parade. Welcome to Graeme for his first outing as a fully fledged Illawarra player.

As always, the Illawarra Pipe Band was privileged to contribute the ANZAC day commemorations across the Illawarra.
