Past engagements Illawarra Pipe Band have attended.

Bundanoon 2025 together with the Bundanoon Pipe Band.

Our first engagement for 2025 was joining with the Dapto Classic Car Club at Bunnings Kembla Grange

In 2024, the band attended many functions in the community. Including, in late December, the Gerringong Christmas parade

The band also supported ANZAC Day – many of the members of the band participating in dawn services in the Illawarra and the band was part of the Wollongong Parade.

The band attended a wonderful Indian festival and the Berry Celtic festival

2024 brought the return of the police charity ball with the Illawarra Pipe Band leading in the officials

The band attended the Canberra Highland gathering for the first time in 2024

On 20th August, 2023 a mini pipe band contest was held at Moss Vale Showground. Illawarra Pipe Band was one of the bands putting on a display for those who came to enjoy the day. The band also managed to 3rd place in the selection of marches in 4B

2020 saw a world faced with Covid 19 so Illawarra Pipe Band like everyone else was staying home, then when allowed out but still no practice. Late November the band got together on a weekend to check uniforms and play pipes and drums. Thanks to Bruce we have photos.
